Siding started this week on the new entry. Inside the entry, the drywall is nearly finished and the door and window that make up the entrance have been installed.Sidewalks were poured this week, and the railings on the stairs are going in. The main entry door from the Grove Street parking lot is going in today, and windows on the north side of the Education Wing will begin on Monday. In the sanctuary, trim work continues. It is looking so good! The flooring we need to finish will be delivered and installed early next week.
We have one more week for sure in our parking lot for worship, which has been going really well thanks to all the set up and clean up helpers. If you haven’t made it yet for an outdoor service, we hope you join us this weekend. We are still hoping to be in the sanctuary on Sept. 28. Our re-entry into the building will be gradual at first, with access to the new Skylight Connector and Parish House a bit later.
Construction Tours:
We are planning to offer a tour again after church on Sept. 21st, for you to see the progress on our renovations. Join us for worship in the parking lot, and then get a sneak peek of our new look! Though our new spaces will be fully accessible, the tours will include some uneven ground and a few stairs.
