Everyone is invited to join us in walking to show our PRIDE at Nashua’s Annual PRIDE Parade, Saturday, June 2nd, 2024. The Parade starts at City Hall at 2pm. Everyone is invited to join us as we walk to represent the Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashua’s PRIDE in welcoming and loving our LGBTQIA+ community. Plan to be in the back of City Hall around 1:30pm. The Parade Route will go from City Hall up Main Street to the Library/Court Street Theater area.  We will need volunteers to carry our church banner.  Parking will be available in the Elm St. and High St. garages. Or, if you are particularly adventurous, parking close to the end of the route and walking down to City Hall.

Please consider wearing either your UU Nashua t-shirts or rainbow colors if you are walking with us. It’s not a requirement but it makes our group much more festive. You can get as extravagant as you’d like — coloring your face with face paint in rainbow colors and glitter, just glitter, wearing rainbow colored socks/clothing, carrying a rainbow umbrella to shade yourself, it’s totally up to you. We want to show our PRIDE! If you have little ones joining us and don’t think they can walk the whole route, please consider decorating their bikes, trikes, strollers, scooters, etc. You are welcome to make, bring and carry positive signs for the LGBTQIA+ community. Sayings like “FREE HUGS”, “LOVE IS LOVE” etc. Please nothing political or derogatory. Also, we cannot throw anything along the parade route so please don’t bring candy to throw to parade watchers.

Our church will be having a tent display on the Library/Court Street grounds and we could use people to stay for an hour or more talking to people and handing out literature we will have on hand. If you are willing to help with this, please reach out to Ericka LaValley
