Seeking Body and Soul Musicians!

Music will play an integral part in the Body and Soul Services. Each service will have a Worship Leader (usually Rev. Allison) and one or more Musicians, who will work together to choose music for the service that complements the monthly theme. The musician(s) will lead congregational singing, and may perform solo or group pieces as well, depending on the skills and preferences of the Musician(s). The Musician(s) will be in charge of recruiting and coordinating extra voices/instrumentalists if needed.

Body and Soul services are a great opportunity to feature music that is less common in our Sunday morning worship service – everything from Taize chants and rounds to jazz and gospel.

If you have musical talents you’d like to share, including ones that you never thought would fit in a Sunday morning service, please sign up with SignUp Genius. If signing up a group, please delegate one person to sign up for the group.

Please contact Rev. Allison at least two (2) weeks prior to your date to discuss the service and the music.

Contact the Music Team for assistance and additional information.
