With our church’s 200th anniversary only 6 years away, the board of trustees commissioned a “Building our Vision” task force last year. The task force’s goal was to create a future vision for our church buildings & campus that aligned with our new values, mission and ends. At our last Annual Meeting, we presented this vision statement but delayed a congregational vote on it because of the impact of the Corona Virus pandemic and the related need for physical distancing.
Although we are still physically distant, we are confident that we can move forward and continue to dream about the future of our church buildings & campus. We feel that now is the time to honor and cherish our beloved space. In October 2020, we will be holding three information sessions to allow the congregation to more fully understand and discuss our vision statement. The dates are shown below.
- Sunday, October 18th at 11:30 am after the service
- Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm in the evening
- Tuesday, October 27th at 12:00 pm during lunch
Following these information sessions, a formal congregational vote on accepting the vision statement will be held.
- Sunday, November 15th at 11:30 am after the service
