Meet our Leaders
Lindsey Hedrick
President
Lindsey began attending UUCN in 2012, and was more than overwhelmed with the welcome they received. Since then they have discovered what a loving, supportive community UUCN has to offer. In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees, Lindsey is also involved in the choir.
Lindsey loves music, dancing, and marching band. Lindsey and their wife, Dana, became foster parents in 2019. They live in Amherst, NH with their constantly evolving family and the best cat ever, Flower.
Burns Fisher
Vice-President
Burns joined a UU church for the first time about 40 years ago and has been a UU Nashua member since he and his wife moved to Nashua in 1986. For Burns, the UU church has been life-changing. It provided a supportive community for raising children; it helped him think about what is really important; it introduced him to people different from himself and to new ways of thinking.
Burns has been a clarinet player since 5th grade and currently plays in the Amherst Town Band. He has been hooked on travel since going on a tour to India with his first UU minister serving as a tour guide. After retiring from his job as software engineer at Digital/Compaq/HP, he is now an amateur radio operator and writes software that flies in amateur radio satellites.
Emma Rearick
Treasurer
Emma first came to UU Nashua in 2018 with her spouse and young child, looking for a multigenerational community that s
hares life’s joys and sorrows. In short order she joined the choir, an internship committee, worship associates, and eventually the music team. She was elected to the board of trustees in 2023. Professionally a regional planner, Emma lives with her family in Nashua.
Karen Murray
Clerk
Karen and her family have been attending UU Nashua for about 13 years since her two boys were in elementary school. She and her family began coming as a way to reconnect with the exploring aspects of ‘whatever is out there’ and to give their boys Sam and Adam a place to learn about all religions. Prior to stepping in the role of Clerk, Karen has been involved in many aspects of church life including Nominating Committee, Leadership Development, teaching RE for many years, Stewardship team and co-chairing the capital campaign.
Cecile Bonvouloir
Board Member-at-Large
Cecile and family have been attending UUCN since 2003 when their twins started attending the preschool and their youngest was cared for in the church nursery. They fast found their home at UUCN becoming members and raising their children in what they feel is a church community that promotes inclusivity, social justice and an environment filled with love.
Cecile and her husband Jim taught in the RE program for several years until their children started the OWL and ROPES classes, and then began serving on committees such as pastoral care, stewardship and now the board of trustees. They both served on the White Wing School board at different times, Cecile as chair and Jim as treasurer. Others include serving on the Ministerial Search Committee, DFF Search Committee, Shared Ministry Team and a few other committees.
Cecile works as a Behavioral Health Clinician at Catholic Medical Center. She enjoys ballroom dancing with her husband and spending time with her young adult children.
