Annual Meeting Highlights

It was great to see so many of you at Annual Meeting on Sunday! It was a full and productive meeting.

For those of you who did not attend, or had to leave in the middle, here are a few highlights:

We passed a whole bunch of bylaws changes, which you can read about here.

We introduced the Director of Faith Formation Search Team, who will be working with me to find our settled Director of Faith Formation. They are Pat Ladew (chair), Erica Agnew, Cecile Bonvouloir, Peggy Cardone, Dan Earley and Kathy Fletcher. You’ll be able to find them easily, as they will be wearing bright yellow name tags throughout next year.

We introduced a new 5-year Strategic Plan, which you can read all about here.

We passed a balanced budget for next year, and a special June budget to cover the gap due to our new fiscal year. You can read all the details here.

We voted in new officers. Brenna Woods is joining the Board of Trustees, and Lance Pratt is stepping in to the open Vice President role. Kate O’Shea is leaving the boarding after her stint as VP. The Nashua Cemetery Association Board got two new members: Moe Daniels and Mary Beth Restivo. Karen Leonard joined the Nominating Committee.

Perhaps the most joy-filled moment of the meeting was when we voted to name Bob Sampson the “Distinguished Keeper of Church Lore.” I know he’ll wear the title with all the dignity it deserves.

And of corse, don’t forget to check out all the year-end reports here.

Blessings,

Allison
