The UU Church of Nashua began construction in November 2024.  Because of this construction, we will not be available to rent any of our spaces until, at minimum, May 2025.  We look forward to welcoming you back to our updated buildings later this year!

Thank you for considering holding your event or meeting at our church. We have several different types of space available to rent, appropriate for various sizes of meetings and events.  NOTE: On-site parking is limited, but we may be able to accomodate parking across the street in the BAE parking lot, depending on the type of event, time of day and day of the week. Spaces in our White Wing Building

 

Classrooms and Resource Room (availability is limited for these spaces)

  • Seats 8-10 around tables
    • Standard rate: $25/hour
    • Non-profit rate: $15/hour
    • UU Nashua Member rate: $10/hour
  • These spaces are not air conditioned
  • The Zoom Cart access may be available upon request if it is not in use by another church program

 

Campbell Chapel

  • Seats 30 
    • Standard rate $40/hour
    • Non-profit rate: $30/hour
    • UU Nashua Member rate: $20/hour
  • This room has many chairs in it as well as a few long tables, a white board and a podium
  • This space is not air conditioned
  • A projector is available in this space
  • Zoom Cart access may be available upon request if it is not in use by another church program

 


Sanctuary

  • Seats 260
    • Standard rate: $150/hour
    • Non-profit rate: $120/hour
    • UU Nashua Member rate: $100
      • Members do not pay for usage of the space for Milestone Ceremonies, but are responsible for the Sexton fee
  • Piano may be used with prior permission of the music director
  • Microphones and the sound system may be used with prior permission
  • This space has a camera and the ability to stream events via Zoom.  This is dependent upon UU Nashua Tech Team availability. There will be an additional cost to cover their time:
    • Standard rate/Non-Profit rate: $25/hour
    • Member rate: no cost
  • Food and drinks are not permitted in the Sanctuary
  • The sanctuary does have air conditioning 

 


Spaces in the Parish House

 

Dining Room and Kitchen (First Floor)

    • Space can hold 80 people  
      • Standard rate: $80/hour
      • Non-profit rate: $65/hour
      • UU Nashua Member rate: $45/hour
        • Members do not pay for usage of the space for Milestone Ceremonies, but are responsible for the Sexton fee
    • The church has five 8’ banquet tables and three 6’ banquet tables.  
    • The dining room has 12 square tables that are always set up 
    • The dining room has around 100 chairs available for use
    • The church has a large standing freezer and refrigerator in the kitchen that may be used, but all food/beverages must be removed at the end of your event.
    • The church does not have an ice maker
    • Table linens, dishes and cutlery are available for use for an additional $25 
    • Any event planning to serve alcohol must adhere to the church’s alcohol policy and notify the church administrator that they will have alcohol at their event.
      • Non-church groups using our facility may serve alcohol provided they have given a Certificate of Liability to the church office prior to the event that names UUCN as an insured.
    • Any decorations or setup will be completed the same day as the event and should be discussed with the Church Administrator. Cleanup and taking down decorations is required to occur the same day as the event.
    • We schedule one event per day in the Dining Room.  If there is an event scheduled for the Dining Room, even at a different time, it is not available that day.
  • The exception to this is in the case of memorial services

 

Fellowship Room (First Floor)

  • Space can hold 25 people
    • Standard rate: $40/hour
    • Non-profit rate: $30/hour
    • UU Nashua Member rate: $20/hour
  • This space has two couches, two arm chairs and a few chairs, additional chairs can be brought in upon request
  • This space has one long table
  • This space does not have air conditioning

 

 

Auditorium (second floor)

  • Space can hold 100 people 
    • Standard rate: $75/hour
    • Non-profit rate: $50/hour
    • UU Nashua Member rate: $25/hour
  • This space has 48 folding chairs available upon request
  • The church has five 8’ banquet tables and three 6’ banquet tables available upon request
  • This space is not air conditioned
  • This space is located on the second floor.  An elevator is available.

 

 

Youth Room (second floor)

  • Space can hold 25 people
    • Standard rate: $40/hour
    • Non-profit rate: $30/hour
    • UU Nashua member rate: $20/hour
  • This space has a few chairs and couches, as well as window seats.  
  • There is a banquet table and chairs
  • A large rolling white board is in this space
  • It is on the second floor and an elevator is available
  • This space does not have air conditioning

 


Other rental details and fees:

  • A sexton fee of $25/hour applies for all events 
  • A staff pianist is available for wedding or memorial services to be paid separate by the renter:  
    • $300 for non members
    • $200 for members
  • Our minister is available for memorial and wedding services to be paid separate by the renter:
    • Wedding: $550 for non-members
    • Memorial Service/Funerals: $385 for non-members
    • Other Rites of Passage (anniversary/vow renewal, etc): $275 for non members
    • Members of the UU Church of Nashua do not pay a fee for these services
  • Setup/cleanup is included in your hourly rate, please plan accordingly.  This will be discussed as you complete your contract with the church administrator.
  • The church has an open guest wifi network available 

 


Your responsibility as a renter:

  1. Return extra tables and chairs back to where they were
  2. Wipe down tables and chairs in Dining Room
  3. Mop up any spills on floor (Swiffer is located in janitorial closet in kitchen)
  4. Sweep floor(s) – general sweep (broom/dust pan  located in janitorial closet in kitchen)
  5. Wipe down kitchen counters, sinks, stove, etc., if used
  6. Remove all food from refrigerator and kitchen you brought
  7. Empty all trash containers into the dumpster (in Grove Street Lot) and re-line containers
  8. Close any windows opened (including storm screen if down when you opened it)
  9. Turn off lights, heat, fans, etc (including restrooms)

 

**Use of the building is regulated by the church’s tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service; for instance, the premises may not be rented or used to engage in political campaigning.

***The church is willing to negotiate pricing for non-profit organizations.
