Join us for a special Jazz service, featuring a five-piece jazz band and a sermon on the spirituality of Jazz. The service will also include our Bridging Ceremony for graduating seniors, and will be followed by brunch at 11am and our Annual Meeting at noon.
This service will explore the stories our physical space tells about who we are and what we value. We will consider what stories our church building tells, and whether this is the story we want to tell.
This service will explore the role of individuals in collective change. What do we do that enables or blocks change from happening? How does individual change fir into the larger story of institutional or societal change?
This service will weave together the themes of risk and transformation. When is risk needed for real transformation to occur?
What are we willing to risk? For whom are we willing to risk? In this service, we will explore these questions, and consider the times when the cost of a risk is worth it.
We’ll explore the importance of failure and vulnerability in innovation. Why is it important to continue to take risks, even when they don’t always end up the way your hoped?
Is it possible for Unitarian Universalism to have a coherent theology, as much as we are a kaleidoscope of belief? Do we have our own theologians? If so, what are they thinking about, and where are the frontiers of our theology?
