We have scheduled a time for a detailed Q & A after church on Sunday Oct 2. This is to allow more members of the congregation to view the design concepts  and to provide their feedback.

Our architects have created poster boards of the design concepts which will be on display in the dining room and the sanctuary. We also are printing a number of copies of their Sept 18th slide presentation to allow for closer inspection. A Quick Recap of our Recent Progress 

During this spring and summer the BOV process was expanded to involve many members of our congregation in  five design task forces working with our architects Caroline Morel and Dennis Mires. These task forces were focused on:

1) Main Entrance
2) Sanctuary
3) Parish House
4) Faith Formation and Preschool Wing
5) Greening

Accessibility was embedded in each. They focused on ideas, concerns, and priorities for  making the spaces in our church function for us and for future congregants and the community.

Our architects have been working on designs which embody our vision as guided by the BOV and congregation design task forces.  On Sunday Sept 18 the BOV Team and Architects presented an update to the congregation. They presented a number of exciting  design concepts. There are a comprehensive set of design concepts to be able to accommodate a range of possible project budgets.

We have also scheduled a time for  a more detailed Q & A after church on Sunday Oct 2. This is to allow more members of the congregation to view the design concepts  and to provide their feedback.

The BOV Team and UU Nashua Board of Directors will be taking feedback from the congregation along with funding considerations  to present a set of plans to be voted on by the congregation at a special congregation meeting on Sunday Nov 20, 2022. at that time we the congregation will select a specific plan to move forward with. This is an important meeting that we need to have a quorum, please mark it down and save the date!
